Christina Aguilera Calls It Quits After Five Years Of Bliss?

Divorce is common, especially in Hollywood. So it was no real surprise when Christina Aguilera announced she was divorcing her husband of five years. Her husband, music executive Jordan Bratman, will likely take the divorce like a man, sans the pain in his wallet experienced by the "typical man."

PEOPLE, published the reasons why Christina sought the divorce. In essence, it is the same old she believes it will benefit her family in the end. "Things were so unhealthy and unhappy for both Jordan and me, I knew I had to end it." said Aguilera. And what about their two-year-old son, Max? "When you're unhappy in your marriage, your children are the ones who suffer," she says. "That's the last thing I wanted for my son." Come on Christina, can't you come up with a more original line? This is text book 101 reason to explain why you are divorcing.

Why not share the real reason for the split or come right out and deny the speculation that you are involved with Matthew Rutler? Divorce is bitter sweet and some times vicious. While dissolution of marriage stimulates the legal economy, for once it would be refreshing for someone to come out publicly as to the real reason that they are seeking a dissolution.

Alcohol Won't Help Save A Marriage

Alcohol consumption won't save a marriage. Unfortunately, when times get tough, the tough get going... out to the bars. If there was any hope in saving the relationship before the drinking, it soon evaporates in a drunken fog.

Legal Pub has an article on Four Loko, a super charged alcohol drink popular among young adults. LINK. It is worth your time to review the article. If your kids are binge drinking, get them help. If you are drinking and driving or simply drinking too much, get help for your self.

Keep in mind, "married men don't live longer, it just seems that way... "

that is really true if it's a bad marriage.

Think Men or Women Get Screwed In Divorce?

Difficult question. A lot truly does depend upon the jurisdiction that the parties are in and the quality of legal services rendered. I would be remiss to point out that the mood of the judge and plain old luck have a lot to do with client satisfaction. For "Helen's" read on the matter visit this LINK.

Let me know what you all think.

John and Kate Should Be Penalized For Their Selfishness

No, I am not representing either John or Kate. But I would like to represent the rest of the eight because I think the kid's Hollywood parents are doing them a disservice. But maybe hitting Kate in the pocket book is a right start to getting retribution. By now practically everyone on the planet knows that Jon and Kate Gosselin's marriage has self-destructed. However; not everyone realizes that the brand Kate has built is under attack. clothing line.

While Healthtex and her latest book, Love in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories, are on hold, the divorce is proceeding onwards. Let's hope that America dumps this couple and they return to their old boring lives. Harsh, yes. In the best interest of their kids, I think so...

Michael Jackson Kids

What will happen to Michael Jackson's kids. If it is true that Jackson is not the biological father of the children, does he have standing to say where the kids go after his death?

Well, the paternal mother gave up her rights. Jackson died with his name on the children's birth certificates. The short answer is that whether Jackson is the paternal father or not should not make any difference. But keep in mind, this is California.

Viper's Suggestions For Improving A Sexless Marriage

This is my Holiday gift for all of you in a sexless marriage. First, do not panic. It can't get any worse. If you want to try to change things, you need to try new things. Next, determine if there is a medical problem that may prevent either you or your spouse from enjoying sex. Chronic illness or the side effects of certain medications may be the culprit. It is also possible that age related sex problems have occurred. Sometimes, it is not a problem, it is just an incompatibility in sex drives. If you suspect any of the above, seek medical help.

2. If it is not a medical problem, consider counseling. Lack of trust, unresolved anger, jealousy, and/or resentment are all possible causes of lack of intimacy. A couples therapist may help uncover the root of the problems.

3. Try to learn you partners desires and needs both in and outside of the bedroom. Guys, if Mamma's not happy, no one in the household will be. If a partner is withholding sex to gain an upper hand in the relationship, therapy is strongly recommended.

4. Improve your communication skills. Women need to feel the intimacy outside of the bedroom before they will provide physical intimacy in the bedroom.

Give it a try folks. It beats a vicious divorce!
